• Develop investment strategy by modeling asset allocation, portfolio construction and manage selection recommendations.
• Perform detailed analysis on individual investment products, strategies and portfolios across asset classes.
• Perform modeling and statistical analysis for decision making support.
• Collaborate with Private Bankers and Investment Specialists to develop objective, actionable proposals to clients.
• Develop advanced knowledge of the firm's investment product providers, offerings and market views.

• Coordinate day to day activities of 7 Analysts domestically and internationally.
• Liaise with counterparts within organization.
• Enforce quality and compliance control standards.
• Lead the development and rollout of new analytical tools and methods (e.g. Value at Risk).
• Manage group MIS (e.g. proposal volume, users, revenue contribution).
• Manage Legal and Compliance approval process.

• Advanced degree (MBA, MS)
• CFA (or working towards it) Certified Financial Analyst
• 5 to 10 years experience.
• Knowledge of asset allocation, modern portfolio theory and manager selection.
• Thorough understanding of portfolio construction and risk management issues.
• Knowledge of a wide range of asset classes, financial instruments and strategies.
• Basic knowledge of trust, insurance and credit products
• Experience with financial modeling (e.g. optimization, monte-carlo simulation V@R) and statistical analysis tools (e.g. Mathlab, E-Views, @-Risk).
• Effective communication skills (verbal / written / proposal) to all levels.
• Previous investment experience with high and ultra-high net worth individuals.
• Experience managing and mentoring a team desired (Exceptional analytics will allow a person to GROW into this role)
• Series 7, 63, 24 strongly desired.
• Fluency in Spanish and or Portuguese.
• Knowledge of Latin American and or South American market.
• 10-15% domestic and international travel required.

Ability to ally with the professionals of various departments and work within matrix environmental will be instrumental to one's success.
