This person will direct the accounting activities and reporting of many millions of square feet of real estate contained in two very high-profile principal assets owned by the company.

This Director will coordinate and prepare consolidated financial statements and provide support to the Assistant Controller and Property Accounting in order to produce timely and accurate financial statements to supports the company’s business strategy.

Prepare monthly consolidated “Flash”

Consolidated Financial Statements (Balance sheets, P&L, cash flow)

EBIT exhibits

Variance analyses

Preparation of various internal reporting packages

Prepare annual audited financial statement and footnote disclosure

Prepare GL analysis to include debt, minority interest and investment schedules

Quarterly debt compliance

Prepare reporting data for quarterly financials to Corporate

Forecasts of deferred transactions

Coordinate the preparation of annual “City Assessment” taxes

Analyze new SFAS’s,SOP’s,EITF’s and SAB’s as per FASB,AICPA,SEC

Draft plans for implementation of new accounting policies (GAAP)

Reports in PeopleSoft (nVision and quiries)

Authorized signatory to sign checks for disbursement

• BA in Accounting or Finance – MBA, MS, MA preferred
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, preferably a minimum of 2 in public accounting, property accounting and or real estate industry
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Expertise in PeopleSoft GL and reporting and Yardi financial system
• CPA
