Description |
The Global Investments Group
(GIG) was established to support the Private Bank mission by driving excellence
in investments across key strategies and asset classes with products relevant
for segments where the Group can build significant competitive advantage;
by supporting our bankers and their clients pre- and post-sale with effective
Investment, Communications, Marketing, Training, Infrastructure and Product
Management capabilities; and by creating a nimble, adaptive organization
with a focus on time-to-market. |
Major
Job
Responsibilities |
-
Frame and communicate global
investment strategies across all products.
-
Update and produce the Private
Bank’s strategy publications for five global regions on a monthly or as-needed
basis
-
Develop and implement maintenance
processes for these publications
-
Expand the coverage of these
publications to include options, derivatives, and structured instruments
-
Team with product managers and
analysts to write new product summaries
-
Participate in market research
calls and meetings, and new product review committees
-
Analyze options, derivatives,
and structured investment ideas from regional traders. Produce a
monthly update communicating such ideas.

Support users and maintain the
content integrity of the investment strategy Intranet site
-
Work with content development
and production teams to optimize the site for high-value content and usability
-
Manage the production of investment
manager reports quarterly
-
Team with the content development
and production teams to deliver a Web-based production application
-
Team with the advice and analytics
team to deliver high-value client solutions related to a proprietary whole
net worth framework for asset allocation
-
Work with analysts quarterly
to produce presentations for the Private Bank’s Quarterly Global Investment
Meetings (an internal conference of economists, analysts, and portfolio
managers)

Skills
&
Experience
Required |
-
Broad experience and knowledge
of investment strategies, including: asset allocation and portfolio construction.
Broad experience and knowledge of investment products, including:
alternatives, currencies, options and other derivatives and structured
instruments. (Experience with these as an analyst or portfolio manager,
preferred).

Ability to write well and often
under tight deadlines

Strong written analytical ability
and detail oriented

Ability to develop and produce
presentations and publications
-
Ability to interface with and
gain the confidence of traders, analysts and product managers
-
Comfortable working with technology
and quantitative data
-
Experience with private wealth
management and possession of CFA and Series 7 license, preferred
-
BA required; MBA or MA preferred
-
3-5 years of work experience,
preferred
-
